How To Use Two Monitor Screens On Your PC WIndows Computer
By TurtleDog
Introduction
Whether you have a desktop computer with two monitors or a laptop with an external monitor attached you can easily run both monitors at once as if they are the same screen. You can move your mouse pointer between both screens as if they are one monitor.
I love doing this as it improves my multitasking tenfold. WIth one monitor running I can, for example, watch a NetFlix movie using the entire screen, while check email or work on anything else on the the other monitor.
This is surprisingly easy to do. Microsoft already has the program installed to allow you to use multiple monitor screens. In just a few clicks of the mouse you'll have two monitor screens running at once easy.
I'm doing the following on Microsoft Window 2007.

Quick Apology
My apologies in advance for the poor screen photos. I really have to get better at using the screen shot, paint, clipboard thingys someday :-) Any good Hubs out there on that?
Hopefully the pics still help though!
Step 1
Go to the "Start" menu. For Windows 2007 users, this of course, is the little Microsoft "ball" in the lower right corner of the screen. Why they don't just say "Start" is a wonder to me too :-)
Step 2
Step 3
Then select "Monitors." For WIndows 2007 users, type "Monitors" in the seach box in the upper right corner of the "Control Panel" window.
Step 4
After typing "Monitors" look for the section called "Display". In that menu, select "Set up Computer to Use Multiple Monitors"
Step 5
Then you'll want to set up the display for multiple monitors. Look below at "Multiple Displays". There is a drop down box next to "Multiple Displays" choose "Extend These Displays."

Step 6
Then click the "Apply Button." Then Click "OK"
You'll now be able to use two monitors at once. You'll be able to sliding your pointer over from one screen to the other just as if it is the same screen.
Hope that helps!
